Beginner East Coast Swing

This is a beginning ballroom dance class. No prior experience is necessary. Partners are encouraged to attend but individuals are welcome. Come learn a fun and enjoyable up tempo dance. Which is also called the “Jitterbug”. The dance evolved from the Lindy Hop, an eight count swing dance. East Coast Swing dance is strictly based in six-count patterns that are simplified forms of the original pattern.

Intermediate East Coast Swing

Intermediate East Coast Swing is a more advanced ballroom class. It can be danced to songs from the 50’s, 60’s through today’s music. Intermediate East Coast Swing is for those dancers that already know basic beginner level swing dance skills. In this class you will learn new advanced and more complex figures, as well as 6 or 8 count timing patterns. Single and triple timing will be taught. Couples and singles are welcome!
